How Does Reflexology Work?

When a reflexologist stimulates the 7000 nerve endings in the feet, it can have a surprisingly relaxing effect. Today’s modern world places ever increasing demands on us, often resulting in stress. Whilst a little bit of stress can sometimes be a good thing, when we fail to manage it, stress may compromise our immune system and we may become susceptible to illness. Reflexology may help reduce stress by generating deep relaxation.  It is very individual and the only way to see how you feel during and after a session is to try it.

Association of Reflexologists

Therapists who are members of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) have been trained to professional standards and are governed by a strict code of practice and ethics and are fully insured. The AOR is the largest reflexology association in UK with over 8,000 members. Full members use the letters MAR after their names and are listed on the AOR website.
